New Glasses & More Bracelets

I watched The Dark Knight last night with some friends at an IMAX theater. I really liked it. It made me miss Chicago, heh. I thought the movie was good. My friends & I ate at Chik-Fil-A before going to the movie. Yumm. It was my first time going to one in Utah. Good food. =) I brought my car in to get fixed on Monday, so throughout this week I'm car-less. I've been getting rides from my friends from work. Super nice! I think I'll have a little dinner gathering at my apartment to show my appreciation. Once I have my car back and I can buy everything I need for the dinner, etc etc...I'll get it all planned.

I got my new glasses a couple of days ago. I like 'em. I actually kind of forgot which ones I picked out. So, it was a cute surprise to see them, heh. I'm weird, I know. I always love getting new glasses. These are pretty funky. They're light green and brown on the sides. The green part has leaves etched on them. Very tropical, Tommy Bahama-esque. =) I like 'em. One day, I think I'll get the lasik surgery. Not anytime soon, but one day.. Though, it's pretty cute to wear glasses every now and then. heh

My apartment is a mess right now. Things have been so busy at work lately and once I get home, I don't feel like doing anything. Except bracelet making. Hehe I made some more this past weekend. I sent out a bunch this past weekend too. I'm going to send one soon to my friend/former college roommate, Sarah. She just got engaged! =) So exciting!

I really like the round beads, especially the jade-colored ones.

The second from the top is a bit bigger than any of the other bracelets I have made. It's been fun to just make a bunch in one sitting. It's like having a little manufacturing plant. I even decorate the envelope I send them in. Hah. It's all about presentation ; ) If I ever start a business, I would love to create a logo. So far, my brand name for my bracelets is Grace Designs. We'll see how long that sticks. It's fun to dream about my own small business.

It's so crazy that Wednesday is almost over already. The week is just flying. Actually, this whole year is going by soo quickly. I'm going to an art fair and symphony performance this weekend with some friends. I'm excited. It's at Park City and I really love that city. It's so pretty and refreshing there. I watched a movie there last Friday night. They just played a movie outside and you can lay out on the grass and enjoy the movie under the stars. It was soo nice. My friends & I brought some food and drinks ... the combination of perfect summer night weather, a good movie with good company equals a great night. Anyway.. I'm done with this post or else it'll be a novel!
