Bonnaroo Update

I just had a vacation visiting Timmy in South Carolina last week. We both worked while I was there - it was nice to not use up too many vacation days while on vacation. I just worked remotely for a couple of days. I spent about 9 days with Timmy. We spent the first half in South Carolina. It was fun to just chill with him and hang out with some of his friends there. =) We went kayaking too. It was my first time - and I had a lot of fun. Though, it could have been a bit shorter of an expedition. =P heh oh well.On Wednesday night, we started our drive to Tennessee for the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. It's a 4 day concert series in the middle of farmy Manchester, Tennesee. We had to camp out and just be grungy for 4 days. It was a lot of fun. I tried to stay clean throughout. Our "showers" were freeeezing cold water. heh Just part of the experience, I guess. We even saw a friend of ours from U of M. Fun coincidence.

We got to see BB King, Willie Nelson, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Chris Rock, and others perform throughout the 4 days. For BB King, we were front and center - awesome. For Willie Nelson, we were pretty close up as well. We headed out early on Sunday back to Atlanta so that I could catch my flight. It was a lot of fun and it was so nice to hang out and spend some time with Timmy. Bonnaroo was awesome.
