NYC Weekend

I spent Thursday through Sunday in NY with friends this past weekend. We celebrated my friend Melissa's birthday, just like last year. Good times for sure. We did the usual walking around through Manhattan, China Town, etc. We ate at a cute little sushi place and got some bento boxes. We also had some yummy Thai food at a restaurant with a Harry Potter feel, heh. They had floating candles for lights. It was cute. I can't remember the names of the restaurants though.

Another delight was going for cupcakes after Thai food. We went to a cupcake bakery called Crumbs. I have to admit, it was really yummy. I just had 2 mini chocolate cupcakes with white buttercream frosting. Really delicious. I had it with a cup of coffee. Yup. I finally started drinking coffee again after giving it up for a whole year.

After walking around, shopping and such.. We got ready to celebrate Melissa's birthday at a club called Vesta.

It was so nice seeing my girl friends again. We always have a good time with one another. Always filled with random conversations and lots of laughing.. like, gut-aching laughter. I love it.
