I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I was lucky enough to have spent Easter with a friend this year - I spent it alone last year. My friend Melissa is here in Salt Lake for work, so she spent the weekend with me for Easter. We went to church on Good Friday and Easter Sunday together. That was really nice.
We also went snowboarding at Brighton Ski Resort. I love snowboarding now. I did a first this time around. I actually left the Explorer area (Brighton's easiest hill) and went on the Majestic lift. Melissa and I did pretty good for being novice snowboarders. We did night riding too (4pm-9pm). That was a first for me, and it was so pretty. We rode for about 4 hours last night, and we can definitely feel it now =P haha
We accidentally rode on the wrong lift after we got down from our "major" hill =) and to be honest, it was freaky. We didn't know how long it would be to get down or how difficult - it was definitely our adventure last night. haha And we also had the time factor and darkness factor accounting for our secret fear. Hah, secret fear because we kept it to ourselves that we were kind of freaked until we were all done and heading back to our car. Haha, we stayed strong for each other! =) It was classic! I love Melissa!
