It's June already! And I haven't written in awhile... and many things have definitely happened =)Tim & I got married! It's incredible. Our wedding was on May 16th in Salt Lake City. It was absolutely perfect. I loved having our family and friends there for a long weekend. The weather was perfect. Our families stayed at these gorgeous suites at The Silver Baron Lodge and it was soo fun hanging out there. It was so cute to see the little kids play in the suite. Lily and Samara definitely had fun hanging out in their new "house." =)
The wedding ceremony was so gorgeous. A Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony is filled with many symbols - it was beautiful. A lot of the symbols had a parallel version in a Catholic Filipino wedding ceremony. It was sweet. It was nice to make some things for the ceremony myself, like our wedding crowns and the candles. I like making stuff. =) I made stained glass stars as gifts for our siblings who we picked for our primary sponsors (a Filipino tradition). I made cute purple bracelets (different for each girl) for all of my bridesmaids. I also made the lavender bundle name cards for our guests (a lot of people helped me with this!) =) They turned out pretty cute & chic. The reception at Snow Park Lodge looked so amazing. I loved it. And all of the food was so delicious =) Deer Valley is great - service and food. It's a great place to have a reception. The people of Deer Valley were great. We also had a photobooth at our reception and it was a lot of fun. (I love those things, hehe) The centerpieces/flowers were perfect. Our wedding cake was beautiful. I loved it so much. Everything about our wedding and reception turned out perfectly. =) We had a lot of fun throughout the day and night =) I'm so thankful to everyone who attended the ceremony & reception. I'm also very grateful to our families and friends who helped out throughout the whole weekend. It was such a memorable night.
