Friday, we headed out for Chicago. More car problems. No need to explain more on this time too. hah We got to bond while waiting for a tow truck, haha. We spent some time with his brothers, sis-in-law, niece, & nephew. =) It was really nice to just chill after a hectic (and rainy!) day. Tim's niece and nephew are so precious. =)
Friday night, Tim & I hung out with Ria, Daisy, & Mike. Great people =) We had a great time (as always). And it definitely felt like a birthday weekend with them. We partied at their place and had yummy sushi and sangrias. They treated us for dinner at a restaurant called Mirai. It was a yummy sushi restaurant. They also surprised me with cute Hershey's cupcakes with sparkler candles! I loved it. It made me so smiley. =) I was really surprised and touched. The girls & Mike got me a Garmin GPS for my birthday. I was very surprised at that. It makes me so happy and so grateful to have such amazing friends. Seriously. =) I'm very very lucky to have incredible people in my life. I love them all.
Saturday, Tim & I actually went around town and talked to a priest at a really nice Greek Orthodox church. The priest was really nice, funny, and helpful. We still need to set a date for the wedding. !!! =) We had a meeting with a photography consultant. And we decided to choose them for our pictures. hehe We got one thing settled. heh Well, technically two. I bought my wedding dress before leaving for Chicago! =)
All in all, it was a really nice trip. And it's harder & harder to say bye to Timmy at the airport... =P

wedding planning sounds so exciting! is the wedding in chicago then? i'm excited to see your dress! i will have to give you a call once i get back to the states so we can catch up :-)
=) yeah, we're really excited. it's so crazy, time flies so quickly! the wedding will be in chicago, may next year.
