Back From California

I'm back from my little trip to California. I left on Friday night and came back late last night. It really hit me today though, how tired I was. My wisdom tooth is coming out and it gave me a big headache today. Ug.

Anyway, back to my mini trip. I visited my sister, my bro-in-law, my niece Lily, and my parents. My family and I went to Seaworld for the first time in San Diego on Saturday. It was cute and just fun to see my niece Lily's reaction to things. She calls every animal a "papu" (a puppy). heh And she likes monkeys too, so she says "monkey" every now and then too. But when we saw Shamu and the other animals, they were all papus. hehe So cute. I think she was more intrigued by the seagulls that flew by while Shamu was entertaining the crowd. heh

After Seaworld, we visited some more family in San Diego and just ate a bunch of food there. Heh We were pretty hungry after a long day at Seaworld. We stayed at a hotel Saturday night and went out for breakfast on Sunday morning. It was a cute little place called "Come On In", I liked it. I bought a scone and a macaroon to go ;) hehe I'm a fan of scones.

I got Lily an Easter bunny. She seemed to like it. Just a little way to get her to like me.. haha I'm not sure if it completely worked though. Heh oh well. I need more time with her. I also got some business cards from work, so I passed them out to my family. Hah It was pretty funny. My dad really liked them. And I got a bunch of little gifts for my mom and my sister. She's pregnant again. So cute. It was really nice to see my family even for a little bit. My parents are leaving for the Philippines next week. It was really refreshing to see all of them. Being out here in Utah, I have to admit, makes me lonely and miss them sometimes. I'm really glad I saw them.

I'm glad to see you started a blog...I like getting a little glimpse into your life!! Lily looks like such a cutie. She sounds like Gabe...he thinks all fish are sharks!
I'm looking forward to checking in and seeing more posts...also your sushi night looks like fun!! I made sushi last year and it was a real hit with Joseph. I showed him your blog and he was impressed that you made it yourself.
